- Christ in the storm of lives Mattewe 8: 23 through 27(Dealing with storms of Life)-The third Step
The third step The third step in the remedy was the disciples did not run around the problem they were been confronted with and were very intentional and specific as to what their situation was and what they need from the Lord. Most of the times as believers or even as human beings we tend to not be specific and keep running around the problem instead of identifying the problem and learning according how to find the solution to the problem. And this is some of the issues that cause denial of the answers to our problems or sometimes delays to solutions to the believer problems. Though the Lord knows our problems, He still requires the believer to voice the problem to Him so as to take ownership of the issue and seek answers needed from the Lord. As seen the disciples did not waste time and were not shy or afraid to face Christ with their issues. And went straight to the issue and their current condition. And the issue was their life was at risk and been threaten by this fierce storm, which if not dealt with immediately will destroy their life. And this was the issue at hand and the disciples did not delay in presenting this issue to the Lord. Christ was sleeping at His comfort and the disciples went straight and brought Christ out of His comfort. Meaning they needed help and went straight to the helper and were very direct with their issues. In the same way the disciple who is facing any hurdles in this life has to learn to go to Christ directly and when they go to Christ they have to be direct and open about the issue at hand. They should not play around with the issue at hand. The believer should be very open and let everything out to the Lord concerning the issues at hand. A prime example is Sam has been dealing with a drug addiction even though he is a church leader and on the board of his church. He has been battling this addiction for a long time and has managed to hid this from his church, family and friends. One Sunday a visiting pastor after preaching call all those who are struggling with any form of addiction to come forth. And to the surprise of the church and Sam family, He walked forward open and received prayers to deal and stop this addiction problem through Christ help. And surprising since coming forth, He has managed to not engage in his drug addiction. The story above is one way in which the believer can be upfront and open to the Lord about his or her condition. Hence today if you are facing any issues or situation in this life be open and present it directly to the Lord shamelessly and the Lord who cares and love the believer will respond to the believer honest and sincere request.
- Christ in the storm of lives Mattewe 8: 23 through 27(Dealing with storms of Life)-The second step
Verse 25, The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!” The second step As shown above, the disciples after following Christ humbly were unfortunately hit with the storm. But they acted wise in the midst of their weakness. Weakness because they did not have any strengthen to deal with the storm. And even in this present times of advancement, as a society we still haven’t manage to have all the tools needed to deal with storms that happens. Still tornadoes and hurricanes continue to destroy and displace lives and this occurrence has not ceased. How much more two thousand years ago will anyone have the solutions to deal with the storms of life. This is why, the disciples were so desperate as indicated in the verse above as they knew and felt suddenly, they will be drowning. The second step involve in the remedy was what the disciples did, they went their way and woke Christ up. Meaning they sought Christ and His help because they realize individual and together their strengthen was nothing and was going to amount to nothing when it comes to this storm they were facing. They woke Christ up meaning brought the storm and their current situation to Christ. So Christ will know what they were going through and bring the required solution according. They pursued Christ strengthen and not their strengthen, they pursued Christ wisdom and knowledge in how to deal with storms and not their wisdom and knowledge which will not amount to anything. The believer has to learn to bring their storm and their current situation to the Lord and not try to deal it with on their own. This will not end well when they decided to deal with it on their own as seen in the disciples life. The believer should realize it takes Christ help to be save from the storms as such he or she should direct all his or her worries and concerns to Christ for help and deliverance and restoration. This been the wise approach that has a guaranteed of any victory in the believers life. As identify the “disciples went” meaning they made a conscious effort to seek Christ help, the believer when facing storms must take the conscious and intentional steps of prayers and supplication and present their daring situation to the Lord and bring it to His attention. So, Christ can bring about the required help. Today as a child of the Lord and follow of Christ turn your problems to Christ and intentionally seek His healing hand through faith evident in the obedient effort of prayers and supplication and total dependance on Christ.
- Christ in the storm of lives Mattew 8: 23 through 27(The remedy for the storms of Life)
The remedy for the storms of Life Verse 23, Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him(NIV) The initial step Storms as defined represent the challenges and trials that will come a person way. And these are not a pleasant experience when an individual is going through. And also the negative impact can be devastating because it can destroy everything a person has worked so hard to acquire and can really set life back for a long time. It also had the potent to impact a person emotionally, mentally send them to sadness and extreme sorrow and even the possibility of depression. Because of all these negative impacts it is critical the believer is able to find the remedy to deal with the storms they encounter. So, it does not derail their life and negatively impact their walk with the Lord and also cause them not to be fully engagement in the ministry the Lord has given the believer. The remedy The remedy comprises of a series of steps and the first is what is laid in the verses 23 through 27. The first remedy step is what is indicated in the verse 23, in the verse the scriptures indicate the disciples were following Christ before the storm hit. They were not following each other or some leader but they were following Christ in humility and were under the leadership and direction of Christ and no other person. This means the believer has to realize the first step in obtaining the remedy to deal with the trials or the challengers this life present to the believer. The believer has to learn to follow Christ, meaning the believer has to learn to humble himself and herself and let Christ lead them always and most importantly during the storms of life. They have to humble themselves and make Christ the lead and follow Christ as deemed. And not let pride takes hold of them and try to find a way out by themselves, this path is a very terrible idea for the believer to take. Because storms of life and the level of severity of the storms as it happened to the apostles in this story cannot be handle with human strengthen but only the strengthen of God and in this case only the helping hand of Christ. This is why is critical for the believer to lean to trust Christ and give the leadership and direction to Him so that He can take the lead and direct the believer accordingly out of any storm they face. Today if you are a believer and going through your own struggles whatever it might be, learn to trust Christ and follow Christ only. So He can direct the believer into the path of victory and success. Instead of following your own path that leads to death and destruction. Follow Christ, just as the apostle followed Christ.
- Jesus Christ in the Storms of Life(Mattewe 8: 23 through 27(The believer is not exempt)
The believer is not exempt. Acts 14:22 Verse 22 strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. “We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,” they said.(NIV) As identify in the previous post storms are not a pleasant occurrence and causes a lot of harm to those who go through storms even sometimes to the point of death. And can delay a person from living their full life and be fully engaged in the work the Lord has for them. And also it can also even cut a life short and as such case a person to not finish the work he or she was called to do. And finally, it generates general unhappiness and sorrow and because of these no one wants storms to come in their life. As indicated above the Lord Jesus Christ as He spoke through His disciples in the verse above makes it clear as the believer journeys in this life as they are in fellowship with Him. Living their life through Him and also doing the work He has called every believer to do. Because of this commitment and task, there will arise may hardship in the believer life and here those hardships represent the storms of life. This means the believer is bound at all costs to enter and experiences many storms in this life. And this will be a frequent occurrence and the believer serves the Lord all the way till the end of their life. And that is how God has design the believer life in Christ. And so in the verses above the apostles of God were encouraging the Christian brothers of this undeniable reality, in which they have to come to terms with and deal with these storms when it comes their way. A prime example is Henry just became a believer and all of a sudden everything has broken loose on him. He has lost his job, lost income and cannot make his car payment so his car has been repossessed, he has called off his wedding and is barely making his rental payment. And he has been looking for a job for months upon months and is disappointment upon disappointment. And he just can’t come to terms to why he has been praying, doing everything right and still has not experience any breakthrough. Henry situation is a typical scenario of what it means the believer is bound to suffer so many hardship even as they serve Christ faithfully. And when these things are happening God has not abandoned them but has to learn to realize it comes with their faith. Today are you going through hardship as you continue to serve the Lord, do not quit on the Lord and also give up. Continue to hold firmly to your faith and run this race of life in Christ till the end as you gaze on the beauty of Christ.
- Jesus Christ in the Storms of Life(Mattewe 8: 23 through 27(Dealing with storms of Life)
Verse 23, Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. Storms are unpleasant events that occurs in life. Storms always comes to destroy properties and life and has the potential to set life backwards for a number of years. Storms have destroy states, counties and towns etc. and the individuals who were impacted some lost everything and so much they were literally back to zero and having nothing. This is the devastating effect of storms and every time storms are talked about, it is not a desirable event or situation anyone will like to experience. Unfortunately, storms are occurrences that can not be put away with and everyone has to experience storms. Storms can also be defined as challenging and trialing situations or times in a person life. But in these posting, we do not only identify the storms of life but also how to deal with the storms of life so it does not negative impact and destroy a person life. As the verse 23 talks about, Jesus got into a boat and the disciples of Christ followed Jesus into the boast. As refereed in the verse suddenly as they were in the boat heading to their destination a sudden storm rose against them. The storm purpose was to do two things, delayed them to their destination and secondly possible kill them so they can never reach their destination. And in so doing preventing them from been effective in the work they were doing for God and also cut their life short so they can never finish the work they were doing for Go and also live their life to the fullest. In the same way this world or life every person is living, is full of storms or challenging and trialing situation, that comes on a person. Something these storms are gradual and sometime occur suddenly. A prime example is been diagnose with a sickness and not curable and as such having to deal with the disease the rest of the person life. And this disease has come to stay with the person, and it might not be sudden but could be because of the lifestyle of the individuals and not changing their lifestyle is the result of their disease, in such a case is gradually creep down on such an individual. It could equally be sudden as you go to your job and you are called in by your HR manager and told to live. And suddenly you are out of a Job and lost of income generating a lot of sudden hardship some of these been not having money for food, a place to live and even meeting car payments. All of these situation can be liken to storms or defined as storms of life. Because they are unpleasant, undesirable and has the intent to delay, destroy, regress a person life. Today, are you facing storms in your life, do not be discourage because it is the norm and happens to everyone and no one is exempt from storms. The key is how you behave, who is with you during your period of the storms.
- Finally, Just Hope in Christ Love and Care
Verse 1, Six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus lived, whom Jesus had raised from the dead. Verse 2 Here a dinner was given in Jesus’ honor. Martha served, while Lazarus was among those reclining at the table with him. Verse 9 Meanwhile a large crowd of Jews found out that Jesus was there and came, not only because of him but also to see Lazarus, whom he had raised from the dead. The miracle Christ performed was total and transformation miracle that completely change the life of Lazarus for good. And truly ushered him to a new life for him to go and live his life to the full. It wasn’t like he was healed and was still suffering from some other sickness. Or there was still issues with his healing and that it was not complete. Or maybe he came back to life and shortly died again. This was never the case Lazarus was completely healed and restored permanently. And the truth is evidence in the verses above. As indicated from the verses above, after six days of Christ raising Lazarus from the grave, He went back to see His friend and they had dinner together and many throng the town just to see Christ but most importantly to see the one who was once dead and now is alive. These verses provide the truth that in reality Lazarus was totally healed and complete and was totally restored to once again live out his life that was cut short. The wisdom here is when Christ heals, He truly heals and His healing brings about completeness in the believer life not a half way completeness. As identify clearly in society there are many disease that do not have cure and as such are called treatable disease but the disease still remains and eventually becomes the detriment of the one who is suffering from the disease. But when it comes to the healing that comes from the savior is a complete one and the one who is totally healed from the disease do not have to ever worry about the disease coming again. They are healed and go out to live out their lives as if they were never ever sick. This is what the Lord brings to the believer as compared to the healing the world brings to one who is sick. There has been countless people who have been addicted to drugs who are in and out of rehab and eventually the drugs takes them out. There are those who go and are treated at the hospital come home and are gone in a short period. But as identify above, Lazarus when he was healed, it was total healing and he went and led his life and enjoyed it as if he had never died. This is why the believer should put their trust in God, because when God comes through which He always comes through for those who trust in Him. He comes with complete restoration which comes out of love and tremendous care for the wellbeing of the one who has put their whole trust in Him.
- Resting in the unlimited power of Jesus Christ as revealed through His Love and Care. Part B
The present believer The present believer should in the same sense have to realize the outcome of Christ love and care. That it led to unexplainable, unimaginable miracle that brought about life to a dead person. Someone who has been dead not just for seconds but for a long time and was decomposing. But to this level of deterioration Christ as He purpose in His heart was able to turn the situation around and as such brought about life. And at the end the pain and crying lead to joy and jubilation and the final truth was God has the power to give life and turn every situation around even when it seems impossible. If the believer is going through any situation or is expecting God to do something in their life, they have to be encourage been in Christ is been at the right place and position to be healed. Hence should have comfort in Christ and rest in His love and Care knowing that Christ can make all grace abound for the wellbeing of the believer as He personally turn the believer situation around for good. The believer should equally rejoice in the love of Christ. Because as seen through the whole journey to this point where the miracle happened. Christ was operating in love and the love brought Him so much pain and discomfort that He had no choice but to heal Lazarus. And in the same way Christ love all those who have put their trust in Him. Because Christ Loves the believer in the same way, He identifies with the believer pain and trouble and will equally bring a speedy undeniable miracle to the believer. If the believer will not doubt Christ is the resurrection and life. And He truly has the voice of command as identified in His words, that has all who believe and take these words and apply to their situation due equally experience His power. And in turn experience a change in their condition of desperation, pain and shame to a permanent place of joy, peace and comfort. All Christ is requesting from the believer is to turn all his or her problems to Him so Christ will perform a miracle just as He did for Lazarus, family and friends. So, at the end the believer will not even have any scars of their problems because Christ will have totally erased all of the believer problems. Let the believer trusts the Lord and not quit on Him but rest in His love and comfort. Fred has been recently going through a series of disappointments in trying to find a Job after graduating from college. It has been three years and he has not been able to find a job in his field of study. He has prayed, done everything possible and still at the same place, after interview upon interview he is still going through disappointments. After all these disappointment he went for a last interview and was waiting for them to call him but they did not call him. After a week of waiting on them, he decided to call them, when he did, they felt he was more qualify for a better and a high position, which they interviewed him. And to the glory of God when he went and interview for the high position he was called and offered the job at a pay that was so significant if he had worked continuous for the three years after college, he could not have even earned such an amount. God gave him more than enough after he felt all is lost, God came through mightily for him. And this is what happens to those who rest in the love and care of Christ.
- Resting in the unlimited power of Jesus Christ as revealed through His Love and Care.
43 When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” 44 The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.” The verses above are the final outcome of the love and care Christ showed at His friend Lazarus home. After He has showed tremendous care and love and also experience so much pain through His own time at Lazarus house. And all was because of the love Christ had for Lazarus. Christ went ahead and did what was the unimaginable or impossible. And what Christ did that was so impossible was calling forth a dead man who has been dead for such a long time at the point of decomposing. A loud voice from Jesus Christ, the one who has been dead and is decompose was called forth by Christ. And to the amazement of Lazarus family, and all who were gathered in the house of Lazarus the one who was once dead came back alive and kicking. The breath of life from Christ voice entered into his being and woke him up from the realm of the dead back to the state of the living. And not only was Lazarus back kicking but the clothes that was wrapped around him was which goes with those who are dead, Christ wanted the also remove immediately. And it was important this part was also done so there will be no stain of death around Lazarus. So all will know Lazarus has been completely delivered, restored and saved from the power of death into the power of life found in Christ. The love and Care of Christ All of this impossibility became a possibility because of Christ love and care for Lazarus was so much He did not want his friend to suffer such a shame. And also, did not want the family to continue in their grieve and pain. And because of this terrible situation , Christ went ahead and performed a great and undeniable miracle by giving life back to Lazarus. And through this miracle back the reality that He truly is the resurrection and life to everything in this world. And also, truly the Messiah send by God the father. And also, to let all who were present and subsequently to this event know truly God holds the power of death and life and gives life to anyone who He pleases to give life to and all that God does is truly out of love and He is not out of touch with His creation.
- Finding Confident in Christ revealed identity as a reflection of His love and Care - Part B
L ife comes with challenges especially in these times of confusion, uncertainties and deception that has created unnecessary hardship and has painted the future with no hope for the believer and our children alike. This regression in life and stagnation has come to be because hope of the future is gone. Christ offers all who trust in Him life. Meaning the world can be going downhill but in Christ the victory is destined, and success and great exploits can be achieved because when everything is dying and Christ comes in, He infuses His life given ability to the situation giving life and a brighter future to the person and situation even in the midst of the darkness of loss. Jerry has been in and out of rehab for the last two years in his effort to combat his drug and alcohol addiction, which has destroy his life and has cause him to be estrange from his family and fiancé. He equally cannot keep a job and is on a verge of homelessness. Totally abandoned by everyone because of her constant lies and also stealing from family and friends to feed his recurring addiction. He recently on a bus heading to one of his rehab session when he sat by James. They got talking and James invited Jerry to his church. After almost a month on one Sunday morning Jerry showed up to James’s church. And after the sermon the pastor invited anyone who wanted to accept Christ to come forward and accept Christ. Jerry went forward and accepted Christ and went home. The next day Jerry was invited by his friends who he does drugs for their usual time of usage, and to the surprise of his friends he refused to participate in their behavior. Jerry indicated, he felt uneasy and uninterested in engaging in such behavior and went home. And since then he has totally cut down on using any drugs and as he sat and deliberated about what had happened to him it was after he went to church and accepted the Lord and since then has been this change of behavior towards alcohol and drugs. Realizing what had happened to him, he went back to the church and join the counseling team of the church a program geared towards helping troubling individuals. And since then, has been involved heavily in church. The church was kind enough to employed him and this has giving him a chance to earn some income, and this has change his life completely and has become self-dependent again. During a thanksgiving holiday dinner with the family, everyone was shocked at the change of his life evident by his consistent calm and respectful behavior and will not even taste one drink. The story above is what Christ can bring to a person life Jerry was as good as dead. But in his hopeless and helpless situation when he encountered the Lord Christ found a way to give him back his life and hope, that all is not lost. Which was evidence in his change life. This is one example of what the Lord can do for any one who put their trust in God and believe that Christ has the power in the present to completely turn their situation around. The believer should just trust the Lord who they are in relationship with, because he is one who has the ability to do the impossible to the point of what in human sense is considered garbage, dead. Christ can beautify it and make it relent again for useful use. Let the believer continually trust in the love and care of Christ so as to experience this life-giving power of Christ.
- Finding Confident in Christ revealed identity as a reflection of His love and Care
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” The book of proverb makes a strong argument the rich find their confident in their riches. Meaning the rich people have found their riches as their very being and rest confidently in what they have obtain in this life. Knowing that their riches can give them anything they need in this life as compared to the poor who has nothing. The believer whether wealthy or poor has to have confident in the Lord Jesus Christ alone. And not only in the Lord Jesus Christ as a person and lord. But most importantly of who the Lord is, meaning the nature of Christ. The nature of Christ is what gives the believer the confident to live and move forward to face any unwelcome situation in the believer life and to have the strengthen to fight and defeat any unfavorable situation that will come the believer ways. The believer not knowing who Christ is, will not be able to depend on Christ and also will not be able to trust Christ enough for Him to give the believer the daily victories the believer needs in this life. The question is what is the nature of Christ that the believer is called by God to put their hope in? The nature of Christ In the verse 25 and 26, Christ out of His love and care for Martha the deceases sister and also everyone that was there who have put their trust in Him or is leaning on trusting Him. Christ revealed to them in the verse 25 that He is not just a friend to Lazarus or a miracle worker or a Rabbi or teacher as they referred to Him. But He is the resurrection of life, meaning He is the originator and also the author of life itself. He is the one who created life, sustains life and equally give life to everything. And that no other person holds this honor but only Him. This revelation came directly from Jesus Christ our Lord to Martha, who He loved. And He revealed this to Martha because it was critical for Martha to know there can only be a miracle of such magnitude from the Lord when this truth is known and understand and also trust in and the truth held in the believer heart. Christ been so loving and caring made this reality and truth known to Martha as a critical step of what He intended to do for her and the family. The believer Every believer in this same regard have to realize, accept and believe this truth about Christ because it this truth about Christ that can and will enable the believer to put their complete confident in Christ. Knowing that whatever persecution or trials the enemy presents to the believer there still hope of victory even when in human sense it looks impossible. And also this is the key to help the believer to develop the mindset and heart to deal with any trials that will come their way and still walk out of the trial victorious. As Christ talked about in the verse above, He is the resurrection and life itself. And He went ahead and explain what it meant, that anyone who believes and trust in Him even when they die will live according to His will. Meaning if Christ determines a person to live even if they are dead, He has the power to raise them from the grave. Even if they have a debilitating disease and it is about to take them to the grave Christ has the ability to turn the situation around and bring about life. There is no one who can do this except the one who is the resurrection and life. Because of who Christ is, He has the ability to turn every situation that is hopeless and helpless to a hopeful one. And this is what He communicated to Martha and is the same communication He is given all who have decided to put their trust in Him.
- Walking in Obedience in Christ love and Care resting in His identity
So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me.42 I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.” As the believer stays in fellowship with the Lord and this relationship brings about many trials and difficulties to him or hers and as they also deal with life issues. The believer only hope is to believe in the helping hand of Christ. And for the believer to trust the helping hand of the Lord and equally receive help from the Lord, the believer has to learn of who Christ truly is in this life. Christ identity As indicated clearly in the verse above, Christ lifted a prayer to the Lord and in the prayer it was purposely to let those who were present to know who Christ truly is. And from the verses above the identity of Christ is He is the promised savior send by God the creator to the world to bring salvation to all men and to lift the burden and hardship this world presents to everyone in it. And because he is the promised savior, God listen to Him to perform every request He presents to God the creator and sustainer of the world and every life in it. And this is why Christ said such a prayer God always hears Him but for the sake of the people to truly know who He was and to put their trust in Him to be save and delivered and blessed in this present time and the future life to come. He prayed such a prayer to God, so all presents will know He is the true savior and no other. And the only true savior God is compelled and obligated to listen to and answer all He requests because God send Him to do the work of God been to savior all humanity. And for Christ to pray such a prayer is an expression of His love and care for the people gathered so they will not lose this opportunity to trust in Him and be saved. And not walk away with their burden still hanging down and weighing them down. When the one who can save them from all their issues and relieve them was standing right in front of them. Insight The believer in this same way has to come to terms of who Christ represents in this world and their life. They have to realize Christ is the savior of all humanity and because of this, the believer has to learn to put their complete trust in the Lord. Christ is the only appointed savior and redeemer the Father listen to and will answer any request from Him. This is because He is the appointed one that God has placed all solution to every problem. And also He is the only savior who truly love and care for humanity and most especially those who have put their trust in Him. Due to this truth about Christ, it is so critical for the believer to realize the most important step to receiving a miracle from God is to trust who Christ is and what He truly represent in the believer life. A representation, He is the voice of love and care reflected in the truth as the appointed person God has given all the power and solution to very problem in this life. As this truth been laid out, today as a believer in Christ trust in your savior of who He truly is the voice of God and is in Him God has given all victories in this world. As this been said trust in Christ because He is the only person the answers to all life issues can be found. A prime example is Irene’s son, has been wayward recently and is failing in his grades. Every counsel has been offered but the child still won’t change his ways. This has really impacted Irene life and has brought a lot of stress and anxiety in her life. But recently as she has committed more time to the Lord and has been growing in the Lord. She has realized how all things are possible in Christ and through this faith has relented and given everything to the Lord, including her son issue. This has calmed her tremendous and has made her hopeful. The believer has to learn to be hopeful in Christ and the power in Him and not give up.
- Hope in Christ love and care in obedience
41, So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. After placing many stumbling blocks in the way of Christ as He was determined to perform a miracle at the funeral grounds. And the stumbling block is their lack of faith that God can still bring a miracle even when all hope is gone. Martha finally yielded in obedience to the rebuke of the Lord to take Him to the tomb of Lazarus and remove the stone in front of the tomb. As clearly indicated above Martha finally was obedience to the voice of God and allowed herself to trust the Lord and what He wanted to do as evidence by finally allowing the stone in front of the tomb to be finally remove for the Lord to do what seems virtually impossible. Insight The believer equally has to realize as the face the difficulties of life and also the uncertainties this life brings. And sometimes these trials as much as it might look impossible and there is no way out for the believer, and it looks like it is the end of the believer life. Instead of the believing throwing in the towel in doubt and feeling abandon and that God does not love him or her and equally God cannot perform a miracle and make a way where there seems no way, just as Martha was behaving earlier. The believer should rather just be obedient like Martha and the people who were obedient and went ahead and remove the stone as instructed by the Lord. The lesson here is the believer should just believe what the Lord has said concerning his or her situation. And not doubt but just believe the word of God. A prime example is Helene is been going through a very difficult time as she just lost her job through a recent health care crisis. And her grandson keeps getting into trouble and in and out of rehab. And these series of events has made her feel the end is closing in on her. Fortunately for her she was reading her bible one quite Friday, and the Spirit spoke to her from 1 John 5:4 as seen below: Verse 4, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. As she read these scriptures, she decided not to let her circumstances determine how she lives but rather will trust the Lord word and present her problems to the Lord for help. And since then she has entrusted everything which is going on in her life to the Lord for help, deliverance and restoration. And with this decision is learning to trust the Lord with her very life. Every person has to realize this is what the love and care of Christ is demanding from the believer to just trust the Lord and not worry and rather let their circumstances cause them to doubt. His love and care demand complete trust from all who have put and giving their life to Him. And the trust is to place hope in His word knowing that victory has already been guaranteed in Christ. So today as a believer just trust Christ and do what His word is saying concerning your situation and do not doubt.
