Be Strong and Encourage as the Lord brings victory

Psalm 27:14 Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD!.

Today, if you are struggling, I want to encourage you to be obedient to the word of God by waiting on Him and taking courage in the Lord and not been discourage but be strong knowing that the Lord at the end will bring about a victory for you as a believer. Not only bring victory, but if you, as a believer, are obedient, victory is even already obtained.

As you go through your own struggles, let encouragement fill you instead of discouragement. Let boldness and strength replace timidity, knowing that Jesus Christ, the faithful one, will surely bring victory to those who trust in Him.

After working for the company for thirty years, Hilda got laid off. She received a tiny severance package and quickly depleted the funds. Despite being on unemployment benefit for a year and a half, she persists in her tireless quest for a job that can satisfy all her daily needs. She has a few jobs here and there and with unemployment; she is surviving. As the unemployment benefit got cut off and she can’t find a job, she is so cash stressed. She has lost her car to the bank and her house is on the verge of foreclosure. She went to church and the pastor encourage the congregation that everyone who is struggling should wait on the Lord and be strong and take courage and wait. She decided to be obedient and wait on the Lord, seeking His direction in the job interviews. With these efforts, she was still struggling and the ban finally decided to foreclose on her house.

Knowing she is on the verge of homeless, after a job interview in which she felt very terrible at it and felt she had failed completely. And this been a job in which if she gets can have enough income to meet every daily need just as before and even more. But knowing the reality because of how she failed in the interview, there is no hope of her every getting the Job. She learns to trust in God and waited on God for the right job and was not anxious in any way or discourage.

After almost a week, as she was running her daily routines, she was called by this company to say that they were willing to offer her the job, if she wants the job. She was not hesitant and answered yes. As she left the conversation and going home, she knew this was no other but God who had answered her prayers because she learned to trust the Lod and did not kid.

The story above is a typical story of the benefit of waiting on the Lord and not being discouraged because you know His time of provision is always on time and the best when He finally comes through for the one who has finally put their trust in the Lord.
